When and where to buy
Public sales open at 12:00 PM on Friday 9 October 2026 through the official Kong Seng / Macau Ticketing network at macauticket.com, with authorised outlets including Ctrip, Damai and EGL Tours selling alongside. That is the only safe way in: buy through the official Grand Prix site (macau.grandprix.gov.mo), the Macau Ticketing network or an authorised agent, and never through unofficial resellers. Counterfeit and invalid tickets surface every single year.
Note for deal-hunters: as of early October, neither Klook nor Trip.com listed a 73rd-edition Grand Prix ticket product. Klook's only Grand Prix ticket page still covers the 2025 (72nd) edition, so don't buy that one by mistake. If 73rd-edition products appear on either platform, we'll update this page.
The prices, stand by stand
Thursday and Friday are the bargain days: MOP 100 a seat across the grandstands, covering practice and qualifying. For the weekend proper:
- Grand Stand, MOP 750. The main straight on Avenida da Amizade: starts, pit action and podiums.
- Lisboa Bend, MOP 1,200. The premium seat. The tight right-hander at the end of the fastest straight, where most of the weekend's overtaking (and crashes) happen.
- Reservoir, MOP 400. The flowing section past the reservoir: fast, photogenic, and the cheapest weekend seat.
- Concessionary, MOP 150. Reduced-price tickets for eligible concession holders.
Seating is assigned by grandstand section, and the popular sections sell out. If you have your heart set on Lisboa, don't wait.
Before you buy
- Sort your hotel first, or at least at the same time. Race weekend is Macau's priciest weekend of the year and rooms sell out. See our Grand Prix hotels guide.
- Roads close around the circuit on all four race days. If your hotel sits inside the circuit area, check access arrangements before you arrive.
- Bring ear protection, especially for kids. A street circuit at full chat is relentless.
- Thursday and Friday are underrated. At MOP 100 you can walk between sections, watch qualifying from a few angles, and get a feel for the circuit before the weekend crowds arrive.
