The Grand Prix package from Hong Kong, explained

If you're based in Hong Kong, or flying in through Hong Kong, as plenty of Taiwan fans do, the neatest way into the 73rd Macau Grand Prix (19–22 November 2026) is the bundle that pairs a weekend Lisboa Bend ticket with the ferry crossing. Every stand on the official Macau Ticketing site is sold out for Saturday and Sunday, which makes this package the straightforward route that remains. Here is exactly how it works, including the one step people keep missing.

What's in the package

  • Two days at the Lisboa Bend Stand, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November. Lisboa is the premium seat on the circuit (official weekend face value MOP 1,200): the tight right-hander at the end of the fastest straight, where most of the weekend's overtaking happens. Sunday is the big one, with the FIA Formula Regional World Cup main race. Lisboa Bend seats are allocated (randomly assigned), so you cannot pick your exact spot.
  • A one-way Cotai Water Jet ferry ticket, Sheung Wan (Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal) to Macau's Taipa Ferry Terminal, Cotai Class. You choose the sailing time when you book. It is one-way only: the sailing back to Hong Kong is yours to arrange (see the crossing section below).
  • A physical Grand Prix ticket, not an e-ticket. See the collection step below; this is the part that catches people out.

The bundle is sold with three stand options (packages checked on the live product page, 13 October 2026): Reservoir Stand + ferry from US$49.49, Grand Stand + ferry US$92.79, and the Lisboa Bend Stand + ferry at US$148.49. The Grand and Reservoir stands are free seating; Lisboa Bend seats are allocated. Confirmation is instant, and bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded, check your dates before you pay. The live price is shown at booking.

The weekend is the heart of the event: seven races across the four days, including the FIA FR World Cup, the FIA GT World Cup, the Guia Race (Kumho FIA TCR World Tour), the FIA F4 World Cup and the Motorcycle Grand Prix. For the full rundown, see our 73rd Macau Grand Prix spectator guide.

The step everyone misses: collect your ticket in Sheung Wan

The Grand Prix ticket in this package is a physical ticket collected in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong: present your voucher and exchange it for the physical ticket at Shop 3040, 3/F, Shun Tak Centre, 168–200 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, on any day from 14 to 22 November 2026, 10:00–17:00. There is no requirement to collect a minimum number of days before the race, the desk runs right through race weekend itself, but you must hold the physical ticket before you head to the grandstand: the confirmation email or app voucher on its own does not get you in. The collection point is in the same Shun Tak Centre complex as the ferry terminal (MTR Sheung Wan Station, Exit D), so you can collect the ticket and walk straight to your sailing.

Coming from Taiwan? The routing that works is: fly into Hong Kong, collect the ticket in Sheung Wan, then take the ferry over. If your flights are into Macau instead, you would still need to make the Sheung Wan pickup first, factor that in before you book.

The crossing: Sheung Wan to Taipa

Cotai Water Jet sails from the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan to the Taipa Ferry Terminal in Macau. The crossing takes about an hour, and the official schedule runs sailings through the day from early morning to late evening in both directions, so you can cross on Saturday morning and still be in your seat for the day's racing, though the calmer play is to arrive Friday evening or on an early Saturday sailing, because race weekend sailings fill up.

Boarding the bundled sailing: present the e-ticket QR code at least 30 minutes before departure, the gate closes 10 minutes before the sailing, staff may ask to see ID, and the e-ticket cannot be transferred or changed. And plan the way home separately: the package's ferry ticket is one-way only, so book your own return sailing from Macau back to Hong Kong, ideally at the same time as the package, homeward sailings after Sunday's racing are busy too.

One geographical wrinkle: the ferry lands in Taipa, but the Lisboa Bend Stand sits on the Macau Peninsula, by the Hotel Lisboa at the end of the main straight. From the Taipa Ferry Terminal, take a taxi or bus across to the peninsula, or a Cotai resort shuttle into Cotai and onwards from there. Roads around the Guia Circuit close on race days and traffic is slow, so allow generous extra time and aim to be at the circuit well before the first session.

Race-weekend logistics once you're there

  • Roads close around the circuit on all four race days. If your hotel is inside the circuit area, check its access arrangements in advance. Our Grand Prix hotels guide covers where to stay.
  • It's loud. Bring ear protection, especially for children. A street circuit at full chat is relentless.
  • Hotels are the real bottleneck. Race weekend is Macau's priciest of the year and rooms go early, sort accommodation at the same time as tickets, not after.
  • Want Thursday and Friday too? Practice and qualifying days are a different, much cheaper ticket sold separately through official channels, the bundle covers the weekend only. As checked on 13 October 2026, all three stands (Grand Stand, Reservoir Stand and Lisboa Bend Stand) are still available for Thursday and Friday at MOP 100, unreserved seating, the mirror image of the weekend, where every stand is sold out (face values were MOP 750, MOP 400 and MOP 1,200 respectively). See our Grand Prix tickets guide for stand-by-stand prices.

How to book

Book the bundle on the product page: choose your stand, pick your ferry sailing time, and complete the checkout (confirmation is instant; bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded, so double-check your dates first). Then: (1) collect the physical ticket at Shop 3040, 3/F Shun Tak Centre, Sheung Wan, any day from 14 to 22 November, 10:00–17:00; (2) book your own return ferry sailing; (3) book the hotel. Ticket in hand first, everything else after.
